Privacy Policy

Actor Desk ("the app") is operated by Kaushal Patel ("I", "me"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what control you have over it.
The short version: the app stores the records you enter so they're available on your devices. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared for advertising, and there is no analytics or tracking of any kind in the app.
What the app collects
Your account. There are three ways in, and they store different things.
Sign up with an email address and a password, and both are stored so you can sign in again. Passwords are handled by the authentication service described below and are never visible to me.
Use Sign in with Apple and there is no password at all. Apple sends an email address and nothing else — the app does not ask for your name. If you choose Hide My Email, what Apple sends is a relay address instead of your real one, and that relay address is all I ever hold.
Or look around without an account, which creates an account with no email address and no password attached — just the records you enter. Nothing identifies you and nothing is sent to you until you add an email address or sign in with Apple.
The records you enter. Auditions, costs, earnings, and agent submissions — including anything you type into a notes or feedback field. This is stored so it syncs across your devices and survives switching phones.
Subscription status. If you subscribe, a record of whether your subscription is active. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple and never reach the app or me.
An Apple token, if you use Sign in with Apple. Apple requires an app offering Sign in with Apple to hand your tokens back when you delete your account. Doing that later needs a token Apple issues only at the moment you sign in, so it is stored then and kept for that one purpose. It isn't something you can use, it is never shown to you, it is deliberately left out of the CSV export, and it is the first thing destroyed when you delete your account.
What the app does not collect
There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, and no tracking of any kind. The app does not collect your location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers. It does not track you across other apps or websites.
Who else processes your data
Three services handle data on my behalf. None of them is permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Supabase hosts the database and handles sign-in. Your account and your records are stored on Supabase infrastructure in the United States. Their privacy policy is at supabase.com/privacy.
Resend delivers the app's email — the verification code you get when you sign up, or when you add an email address to an account that doesn't have one. It receives your email address and the code, and nothing else. No marketing email is sent, ever. Their privacy policy is at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
RevenueCat manages subscription status. It receives an anonymous identifier and your subscription state, not your records or your email. Their privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple processes all payments, and signs you in if you choose Sign in with Apple. I never see your card details.
How long it's kept
Your data stays for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and it's removed — see below.
Deleting your account and data
Settings → Delete account. If you signed in with Apple, your Apple token is handed back to Apple and destroyed first, before anything else is touched. Then your auditions, costs, earnings, and agent submissions are removed from the database, your sign-in credentials are deleted, and any copy held on the device is cleared. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
If you'd rather keep a copy first, use the CSV export in Settings before deleting.
Your rights
You can access and correct your data directly in the app — everything stored is visible and editable. You can export it as CSV and you can delete it entirely.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data, including the right to request a copy or to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email me at the address below.
If you're in California: I do not sell personal information, and I do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Children
Actor Desk is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email me and I'll remove it.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on infrastructure with access controls in place. Access to the database is restricted per-user, so one account cannot read another's records. No system is perfectly secure, and I can't guarantee against every possible breach.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will be updated and the app will note the change. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised policy.
